Richard L. Moussalli, BSN, RN, DDS
Dr. Richard Moussalli attended the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago where he received both his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, as well as his undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. While attending dental school, his education was significantly enhanced as a result of working at the University of Illinois Hospital as an R.N. on various critical care units. He has been practicing dentistry for 28 years, and considers himself fortunate to have found his perfect career, with an ongoing love of dentistry and helping people improve their dental health.


Dr. Moussalli is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Kalamazoo Valley Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. He currently serves on the advisory board of World Dental Relief, and has provided charitable dental services both domestically, and on many foreign dental missions trips.
He loves spending time in the outdoors and with his large family. He is also active in his local church.
Dr. Moussalli is committed to providing a calm and friendly atmosphere, where patients actually do laugh, and fears begin to melt away.
Dr. Moussalli provides an exceptionally comprehensive scope of services including crowns and bridges, dentures, implants, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, Lumineers, sedation dentistry, extractions including wisdom teeth, and children’s dentistry made fun.

Nira Makay – Administrative Staff
I have been working for Dr. Moussalli for 24 years since 1987, and in this practice for 43 years. I am married with three grown children, one of whom is a dentist in Vermont. My love for dentistry continues as I meet and greet every new and current patient. I could not see myself any place else.

Linda Koziol – Hygienist
I received my Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from KVCC in 1974. I have additionally been certified in administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. I have been working in dentistry for 37 years, and 23 years with Dr. Moussalli. I am married with two children and one grandson. I love to bowl, quilt, and cross-stitch. I am now semi-retired, down to one day a week, to allow for me to spend more time with my family.

Kighle Flamm - Hygienist
I recently received my Associates degree in dental hygiene from KVCC. I am also certified in administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. I am a single mom to one energetic 7 year old boy and a 2 year old Australian Shepard named Chase. I went into dentistry to fulfill my joy of helping others. I strive to provide individualized care tailored to fit each one of my patients specific oral health needs. I enjoy being active outdoors, playing beach volleyball, kayaking and fishing.

Savannah Shew - Dental Assistant
I have been a dental assistant since 2008 and have a broad range of dental knowledge. My passion for helping patients is deeper than just the mouth. I truly love helping patients with their overall health and wellness. I was born and raised in Van Buren County, Michigan. I now live in Decatur, Michigan with my husband and three beautiful children, ages 16, 9 and 6. Outside of the office in my spare time I am an avid cardio drummer and runner.

Krissy Moussalli - Dental Assistant
Krissy has been working for Dr Moussalli as a dental assistant for five years. She is excited to be a part of a team that genuinely feels like a family. It brings her great joy to be an essential part of our patients' lives, as well as engage in the hands-on aspect of a wide range of dental procedures. In her free time Krissy is an outdoor enthusiast who loves snowboarding, biking and camping.
